EC bribery case: IT sleuths impound 8 luxury cars of middleman Sukesh Chandrashekar

Around eight expensive cars and a sports bike have been confiscated by the Income Tax sleuths from one of the aides of Sukesh Chandrashekar, who is booked for allegedly trying to bribe an Election Commission official on behalf of sidelined AIADMK leader Dhinakaran for the two leaves symbol.

According to I-T department sources, the Income tax department of Bengaluru recovered these luxury cars and sports bike during raids carried out at several locations in Kochi and Kerala last week.

The prime aid of Sukesh, Navas had allegedly parked these vehicles at the houses owned by an NRI but was in possession of the keys for the cars and the motorcycle, sources said.

The cars found by the IT department officials include Porsche, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Range Raver, BMW, Fortuner Prado and Innova, and a Ducati two-wheeler.
